Groovin on Grayson is a free downtown summer concert series in Downtown Galax. The final Friday of every month, Grayson St. will be blocked off and there will be live music, great food, and children's activities. Many downtown shops which typically close at 5:00 will be open for business during the concerts.
June 27 - acoustic rock band Entre Nous and funk band Curious Strange, children's activities featuring face painting, storytelling, sidewalk chalk and more.
July 25 - Featuring Emily Brass of Floyd, VA and the Fire Dance performed by PyroMystique. Food by Mountain Grillas. Play the region's biggest game of Twister. Chair massage by Ruth Lyons, certified therapist. Video games by Aarons, children's activities.
Aug. 29 - Atomic Roots of Cana, VA and dance and classic rock music by DJ C. Guitar Hero Competition sponsored by Aaron's Rentals. Bring the kids to meet Lucky Dog! Children's activiites. Chair massages by a certified therapist. Food available from the Davis Bourne Inn.
Sept. 26 - Andy Hollander Band
